Until Saturday night 18th November (timer below), we are giving away a FREE extra Kindness Elf of your choice, for all orders over £15/$20, to anyone who wants to take part in Mission: Kindness.
Your Mission, should you choose to accept it, is SPREADING KINDNESS!
This is not just any mission, but one that uses our wonderful Kindness Elves as clever little mission partners! What is so lovely about encouraging each other to do acts of kindness for others is that we start to see how very simple and achievable it can be.
The more we practise the easier it becomes to incorporate into small, everyday moments, taking little opportunities as they present themselves to us. When it comes to encouraging more kindness in children, it is in many ways even simpler. Children don't have money to spend or anything extravagant to give away, yet there are just so many ways they can make someone smile and turn their day around. There's power in kindness!
What's more, kids are often better at thinking of those ideas than we are!
What you choose to do with your free Kindness Elf is, of course, up to you, but here are some ideas!
Donate
Donate the Kindness Elf to another family, classroom, library or kids club etc
Elfie Selfie
Use the Kindness Elf to take an "Elfie Selfie" showing something kind you have done together!
Hide
Hide the Kindness Elf with a note asking the finder to do an act of kindness and then pass it on!
Your act of kindness can be as small as holding open the door for someone else, leaving a positive post-it note on someone's desk or mirror or sharing your snack! Whatever you decide to do, let us know by sharing your ideas and pictures on our FB page and on Instagram using the hashtags #thekindnesselves and #kindnesselvesmissionkindness
We also LOVE seeing pictures of your children doing acts of kindness. You can add #kindkids to those too! With your permission we will share our favourites with the Kindness Elves community.
